The Marriott Marquis Atlanta Hotel is approximately 12 miles from the Atlanta Airport. There are no free shuttle buses from the airport to the downtown hotels. (The free shuttle buses only service the hotels near the airport.) The Atlanta Airport Shuttle offers service continuously to and from the downtown hotels every 30 minutes for $18.50 one way. Taxis are $32.00 The most reasonable mode of transportation is the MARTA train which costs $2.50 one way / $5.00 round trip + $1.00 for the temporary breeze card. Every 10 minutes, the MARTA train leaves from the airport northbound. It is 15 minutes travel time to the Peachtree Center Station N1 Using the MARTA train to get to the Marriott Marquis Downtown is really a breeze. Take the John Portman/Peachtree Street East exit from the N1 Peachtree Center MARTA Station. Look for the Directions for the Marriott walkway inside the Peachtree Center or walk outside if you wish.
